About Me

Hi! My name is Brandon Faulkenberry. I am 23 years old with a degree in Information Technologies with a primary focus in Data Science and Analytics. Some of my main interests professionally are Data Science, creating data summary documents, and creating webpages. I love solving problems, learning, and using my knowledge and growth for personal projects such as this website.

Education

I have completed my degree in Information Technologies, where I gained a lot of experience in many different things. I've learned many programming languages and environments as well as some of the standard tools of the trade like PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, and Git/GitHub. Over the course of my degree I was taught SQL, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Java which I have used for school related projects as well as some personal projects and I am self-taught in R.

Projects

Throughout my coursework I have completed projects involving machine learning, data visualization, and website development. These projects have helped me strengthen both my technical and problem-solving skills. Most of my projects were also team based which taught me how to properly work in a team on programming projects using methodologies like AGILE and SCRUM.

Interests

Outside of programming, I enjoy playing video games, building computers, watching TV, and continuing to refine and hone my coding skills through personal projects and coding games.

Career Goals

My goal is to become a Data Scientist or Data Analyst where I can contribute to meaningful projects by developing software and ETL processes to create business reports to provide insight and direction to those capable of making change.
